Gull-billed Tern (Sterna nilotica) aka Marsh Tern. Adult entering nest, which is a fairly deep, shell-lined depression in the sand. There are less than 100 total pairs occupying separated nesting sites in Florida. Rare and highly localized breeders, they are considered either threatened or of special concern in Florida.
