Description
Great egret (Casmerodius albus) courtship display. This threatened species is often confused with the great white heron. Great egrets have black legs and feet, while the great white heron has light greenish-blue legs. The great white heron has a much more restricted range of Southern Florida and the Caribbean area. The great egret is the symbol of the National Audubon Society. Northeastern Florida, Duval County.
