The King Vulture (Sarcoramphus papa) is the most strikingly colored of the New World vultures. It is native to tropical lowland forests from Southern Mexico to Southern Argentina. King Vultures feed on carrion; they soar through the sky looking for prey, but may also use olfaction to help locate it. World Wildlife Zoo, Phoenix, Arizona.
