Description
The Long-bodied Cellar Spider (Pholcus phalangioides) is usually found in dark corners of basements, garages, and crawl spaces. It is often confused with The Daddy-long-legs (and is also known as the daddy longlegs spider) but is a true spider that spins an elaborate, patternless web. When disturbed, the Cellar Spider will shake about in its web giving it one of its other common names; the Vibrating Cellar Spider.
