Tuberculosis is a disease characterized by inflammatory infiltrations, formation of tubercles, casetion, necrosis, abcesses, fibrosis, and calcification. TB effects the respiratory system, and may effect skin, bones, joints, the nervous system, and the gastrointestinal tract. Infection is acquired through contact with an infected person, cow , or through drinking contaminated milk. TEM 24,000x at 70 mm.
