Cumulus cloud. Cumulus clouds typically occur at altitudes below 2000 meters. They show noticeable vertical development and clearly defined edges. They are often described as puffy in appearance. These clouds do not produce precipitation. Cumulus clouds are often precursors of other types of clouds. Photo taken in Moscow, Russia in August.
