Description
Haas avocados that had been arranged in a large stack in an Atlanta, Georgia farmers market. These appear to be ripe enough to eat, and were marked with a sticky tag indicating their unique name, and computerized code to be used at check-out when they'd be priced and tallied with other accompanying groceries. Their dark brown color indicates their level of ripeness, for these are forrest green in color before ripening. Avocados are loaded with nutrients such as dietary fiber, vitamin B6, vitamin C, vitamin E, potassium, magnesium, and folate. They're also cholesterol and sodium free. Avocados contain 60% more potassium per ounce than bananas. This fruit is an excellent source of monounsaturated fat.
