Description
A cluster of seven-spot ladybird beetle (Coccinella septempunctata) eggs deposited on the underside of a camomile Anthemus leaf. Ladybird eggs hatch after about one week. Some twenty eggs have been laid, a relatively small number to be laid by an insect. Both larval and adult stages of the ladybird beetle feed on aphids.
