Description

A molecular model of amoxicillin, an antibiotic used to treat bacterial infections such as strep throat, urinary tract infections, salmonella, pneumonia, and lyme disease. Amoxicillin is easily absorbed by the body, making it one of the most common antibiotics prescribed to patients, and functions by inhibiting the synthesis of bacterial cell walls.
