Entitled "Osaka kudari tayu Hanakawa Kotsuru" Hanakawa, born without arms, showed her dexterity in her feet, by making origami and shooting from a miniature bow. She was a main attraction around the Rygoku bridge. Amelia is the birth defect of lacking one or more limbs. It can also result in a shrunken or deformed limb. Utagawa Kunisada (1786 - January, 12 1865) was the most popular, prolific and financially successful designer of ukiyo-e woodblock prints in 19th century Japan. Woodcut 1868.
