Description
A prominent visual of Chicago's skyline is the magnificent Wrigley Building, built in 1920 by William Wrigley Jr., of the Wrigley chewing gum company. The architecture is modeled on the Giralda tower in Sevilla, Spain. Seen in this shot is the building with nighttime illumination. The chief designer of the building was Charles G. Beersman. It is 438 feet high, and has 27 floors. This view looks past the canal section of the Chicago River, past the N. Michigan Avenue bridge.
