Polyacrylic Acid Sem metal print by Meckes/ottawa. Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The high gloss of the aluminum sheet complements the rich colors of any image to produce stunning results.

Artist's Description
Polyacrylic acid, color-enhanced scanning electron micrograph (SEM). This is a transparent synthetic polymer, or plastic. It is often used to replace glass in windows as it resists breakage better compared to conventional glass. The polymer is a repeating chain made from the acrylic acid monomer (C3H4O2) and is commonly known as acrylic. It is also used in the production of disposable diapers due to its high absorbency per unit mass. Magnification x3330 when printed 10 centimeters wide.
