Description
Close-up of a flying fox bat (Pteropus scapulatus). Flying foxes roost outside in the sun rather than in caves, unlike their smaller cousins, the bats. Flying foxes also differ from bats because they are frugivores. They also eat flowers and pollen, and help to pollinate flowers in the same way bees do.
