Description
Example of a Mola. Mola is a traditional art form practiced by the Cuna Indians of the San Blas Islands, Panama. It consists of hand made fabric embroidered with a reverse applique technique. They can be quite complicated, with intricate geometric patterns, many layers of fabric and almost invisible stitches.
