Description
A dredge full of oysters coming aboard a Skipjack in the Chesapeake Bay in 1967. The skipjack is a dredge boat unique to the Chesapeake and there are now only a handful remaining. Dredging under sail was intended as a conservation measure to prevent over harvesting.
