Description
Bacteria Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Typical germ in hospitals. Causes middle ear suppuration, wound infection, and urinary disorder. This bacteria is pathogenic in humans, but mainly restricted to opportunistic infections in compromised hospital patients. Pseudomonas possess structural factors and toxins that enhance its virulence as well as rendering it resistant to most commonly used antibiotics.
