Description
Three-dimensional visualization based on segmented human data of the shoulder joint. The shoulder, the most freely moving joint of the body, is a ball-and-socket joint. The hemispherical head of the humerus, the long bone extending from the shoulder to the elbow, fits into the small, shallow cavity of the scapula, a flat bone, allowing for a great range of motion.
