Description
Terracotta warrior horses, near Xi'an, China. A full army of terracotta warriors with horses were created to guard the tomb of Quin Shi Huang, the first emperor of China, who died in 210 BC. The tomb was discovered by farmers digging a well in 1974. This is a view of Pit #1. It is now a Unesco World Heritage site.
