Description
A photograph taken from Harry Harlow's experiments involving rhesus monkeys. Harlow examined how the monkeys interacted with various surrogate "mothers," in this case one made of terrycloth. Open Field Test #1 - Once "safe," upon the cloth surrogate, the normal rhesus curiosity for the surrounding object comes through and the animal turns to explore this strange environment.
