Artist's Description

Illustration of hand tremors, a symptom of Parkinson's disease. Parkinson's affects nerve cells in the areas of the brain that determine how the body moves (basal ganglia). The exact cause is unknown, but both genetics and environment are factors. Approximately 1 million Americans currently live with Parkinson's disease. There is currently no known cure.
