Description
Five crab spiders, including life-size sketches and eye arrangements, as illustrated by Carl Wilhelm Hahn in his Monographia Aranearum, also known as Monographie der Spinnen, in the 1820s. Spiders a & b are male and female slender crab spiders, Tibellus oblongus, native to Europe and America. Spider c is a female Thanatus formicinus. Spider d is Thomisus onustus, and spider e is Xysticus robustus.
