Description
The fang of an Eastern Diamondback Rattlesnake (Crotalus adamanteus). The hollow fang is used to inject the snake venom directory into its prey for quick immobilization. This hollow bone was the inspiration for the modern medical syringe. This section of fang is 2mm in length.
