Product Details

Our luxuriously soft beach towels are made from brushed microfiber with a 100% cotton back for extra absorption.   The top of the towel has the image printed on it, and the back is white cotton.   Our beach towels are available in two different sizes: beach towel (32" x 64") and beach sheet (37" x 74").

Don't let the fancy name confuse you... a beach sheet is just a large beach towel.

Artist's Description

Robert Fulton (1765-1815), American marine engineer. Fulton began as a portrait painter, and moved to Britain in 1787. There, he became interested in engineering, and designed a cradle device that lifted canal boats to replace lock systems. In 1791 he moved to France where he designed the torpedo carrying submarine Nautilus, and, in 1803, the first steamship. Fulton returned to America and by 1807 had organized first commercial paddle steamer services on the Hudson River. In 1814 he also designed and launched the Demolgos, the first steam warship.
