A molecular model of sucrose, a disaccharide composed of glucose and fructose, which is commonly known as table sugar. Sucrose is a white, odorless, crystalline powder with a sweet taste, which can be refined into the different forms of sugar often used in food or drinks. Atoms are colored dark gray (carbon), light gray (hydrogen), and red (oxygen).
