Artist's Description
Historic image of an early mainframe computer system and data processing center at the University of Florida. "The system used is an IBM 360. Tapes are on the counter in the foreground and a disk is at the right. The center is used by the various departments for teaching and processing research, such as statistical problems in psychology. Payroll and accounting are handled at another center." The IBM 360 was released in 1964.
