Description
Grand Teton National Park with the Teton peaks in the distance. The Tetons are the youngest of the Rocky Mountains. They have no foothills, but rather rise dramatically. They are among the sharpest and most jagged mountain ranges. Grand Teton National Park is a 485 sq. mile national park located just outside of Jackson Hole, Wyoming. John D. Rockefeller, the oil baron, donated 32,000 acres in the 1920's to help form the park.
