Description
Tesla's "Apparatus for Transmitting Electrical Energy" (shown here) was patented in 1914. Nikola Tesla (1856-1943), a Serb-American physicist, mechanical engineer and electrical engineer whose patents and theoretical work formed the basis of modern alternating current electric power (AC) systems. In 1943, the Supreme Court of the United States credited him as being the inventor of the radio.
