Description
A snow needle. These sharp crystals are formed under very cold conditions. This form of crystal is made in a cloud when water freezes into ice around -8C. The beautiful pattern is often very complicated with needle-like structures and tiny bridges. Since the final stage is influenced by the weather conditions in which they form, no two snowflakes are identical.
