Admiral Dot, the Eldorado Elf, stage name of Leopold Kahn, who, beginning in the 1870s, worked in the sidehow tent in P.T. Barnum's traveling museum. He weighed around 19 pounds. He later married and settled in White Plains, New York, and opened the Admiral Dot Hotel. He died of influenza on 28 October 1918 at the age of 54.
