A rarely observed species (hard to find), the blind cave loach (Triplophysa jiarongensis), Guizhou, China 2017. It is endemic to a small groundwater system in Guizhou. This species does not have functional eyes and spends all of its life in streams and pools within caves. Photographed in 2017.
