Entitled "Christmas eve at Yapp's Crossing" drawn by John B. Gruelle. Johnny Gruelle (December 24, 1880 - January 8, 1938) was an American artist, political cartoonist, children's book author and illustrator. He is known as the creator of Raggedy Ann and Raggedy Andy. He was a regular contributor to Judge, a weekly satirical magazine published in the United States from 1881 to 1947. Gruelle created a series of "bird's eye views" whose actions was centered at a crossroads he dubbed "Yapp's Crossing". On the storefronts and vehicles he incorporated names of friends, acquaintances, as well as local and national dignitaries.
