Dark Ceiling Mold, Sem metal print by Scimat.   Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The high gloss of the aluminum sheet complements the rich colors of any image to produce stunning results.

Artist's Description

Dark fungus (probably including Stachybotrys chartarum) developed under attic trusses on the ceiling of living rooms. Cold trusses in the winter led to the condensation of moist air in the living quarters and local development of fungus. Close-up photographs and SEM micrographs were obtained using several small pieces of the mold. Dried fungal hyphae and round spores are noticeable. Enhanced SEM Image width 64 micrometers. Magnification 1560x if the image is printed 10 cm wide. Bar 10 micrometers.
