A topographical map of the north part of New York Island, showing the Plan of Fort Washington, now Fort Knyphausen by Claude Joseph Sauthier. November 16th, 1776. Four attacks are depicted as follows A)First attack under General Knyphausen, B)Second Attack by the 1st and 2nd battle of light infantry and Battle of Guards, C)Third attack intended as a feint by the 42nd Regime, D)Fourth attack by one Brigade of british and one of Hessians.
