Artist's Description

The "Cup-bearer Fresco" at the Palace of Knossos, a Bronze Age archaeological site at Heraklion, Crete. This was the first portrayal of the ancient Minoans to be discovered during excavations by British archaeologist Arthur Evans in the early 20th century.
