Entitled "Fashion illustration for Madame Magazine (Germany by Rico, 1960." Rico Puhlman (June 25, 1934 - July 17, 1996) was a successful child actor who then studied fashion graphic, graphic and history of fine art in Berlin. He worked as freelance fashion illustrator for the magazines, but then in the 60s switched to fashion photography. In the 1970s he moved to New York, continuing his career as fashion photographer. Start of successful, long lasting relationships with Harper's Bazaar, Glamour, GQ, New York Times and others. He died in 1996, on his way for an assignment to Paris, at the age of 62. Fashion is a distinctive and often habitual trend in the style in which a person dresses. It is the prevailing styles in behavior and the newest creations of textile designers. Prior to the mid-19th century, most clothing was custom-made. It was handmade for individuals, either as home production or on order from dressmakers and tailors. By the beginning of the 20th century, with the rise of new technologies such as the sewing machine, the development of the factory system of production, and the emergence of department stores, clothing had increasingly come to be mass-produced in standard sizes and sold at fixed prices.
