Description
Guayule plants (Parthenium argentatum), a shrub found in the Southwestern United States and Mexico. It is considered to be a potential source of natural rubber and is being researched as a source of hypoallergenic latex. Guayule resin is being used as a wood preservative and its pulp in rot-proof particle board.
