Description
Entrance to loggia showing carved lions, spiral columns and murals. Mar-a-Lago is a resort and national historic landmark in Palm Beach, Florida. Marjorie Merriweather Post, heiress to the Post Cereals business, paid for the house to be built with her husband Edward F. Hutton. She hired Marion Sims Wyeth to design it, and Joseph Urban to create interior design and exterior decorations. The house has 58 bedrooms, 33 bathrooms, 12 fireplaces, and three bomb shelters.
