Product Details

Our greeting cards are 5" x 7" in size and are produced on digital offset printers using 100 lb. paper stock. Each card is coated with a UV protectant on the outside surface which produces a semi-gloss finish. The inside of each card has a matte white finish and can be customized with your own message up to 500 characters in length. Each card comes with a white envelope for mailing or gift giving.

Artist's Description

Colorized scanning electron micrograph (SEM) of crow droppings. Crow feces represent unsanitary conditions in urban areas in North America as crows defecate onto sidewalks, walkways, cars etc. from trees which they choose to roost overnight all together. This micrograph was obtained by collecting a fresh dropping, dispersing it in a liquid fixative, allowing heavy particles to sediment, and capturing the bacteria-containing supernatant on a bacteriological filter for SEM. Image width 14.2 micrometers. Magnification 7,040x if the image is printed 10 cm wide.
