A trolley plowed through the snow and wind during the heavy snowfall, NYC. The Blizzard of 1910 was considered the worst snowstorm to hit the region since 1888. A blizzard is a severe snowstorm characterized by strong sustained winds of at least 35 mph and lasting for a prolonged period of time, typically three hours or more.
