Darters are a group of benthic, perciform fishes that live along the bottoms of river and stream in North America. Many have small ranges and are imperiled or endangered. This is the Okaloosa Darter (Etheostoma okaloosae). Photographed at the Conservation Fisheries Inc. facilities, 22 June 2018. This specimen is from Eglin Air Force Base, Okaloosa County, Florida.
