Product Details

Our greeting cards are 5" x 7" in size and are produced on digital offset printers using 100 lb. paper stock. Each card is coated with a UV protectant on the outside surface which produces a semi-gloss finish. The inside of each card has a matte white finish and can be customized with your own message up to 500 characters in length. Each card comes with a white envelope for mailing or gift giving.

Artist's Description

Color-enhanced Scanning Electron Micrograph (SEM) of strong scaling of the skin caused by psoriasis. The skin is also infected with yeast. Psoriasis is an autoimmune disease in which the immune system responds to certain skin cells as foreign pathogens, and stimulates the growth cycle to increase the number of skin cells in the region. This results in plaques of inflamed, white, scaly skin, often on the knees, elbows and scalp. It is a chronic disease for which there is no known cure. Magnification is 75001, or 5000x at 10 cm wide.
