Description
A fresh raw whole chicken was placed in a pan. It was basted with oil and herbs, as shown in this image, and put in the oven for roasting at 400°F (200°C) under a lid. It was photographed after 47 minutes, after which the lid was removed and roasting continued with the chicken exposed to direct heat. It was then photographed again at a total roasting time of 81 minutes. Finally, it was removed from the oven after 107 minutes of total roasting time.
