Description
View of the reconstructed front of the theatre at the ancient town of Philippi. Founded by Philip II, King of Macedon, in 356 BC and abandoned sometime in the 14th century the ruins are located in what is now in north-eastern Greece. The theatre, situated to the north of the town, is in use every summer for concerts and plays.
