This lithograph is entitled "The Eagle's Nest" and the caption reads Colored lithograph published by the Kellog brothers, 1861. Shows the American flag as a nest filled with eggs each given the name of one of the states in the union. Many of the southern states have a creature trying to harm their eggs. The eagle is trying to grab the ones it can with its talons. The eagle has a banner coming out of its mouth. The banner reads, "Annihilation to Traitors."
