Constructed in 1961, the Thomas Creek Bridge is the highest bridge in Oregon at 345 feet. It is located at milepost 374.78 near Cape Ferrelo, between Gold Beach and Brookings. Designed by Ivan D. Merchant, it consists of three steel deck Warren trusses supported by steel frame towers on concrete piers.
