Description
Tower Bridge built in 1894, by the architects Wolfe Barry, and Horace Jones is named after it's two impressive towers. The architectural style is "Victorian",at it's finest! The bridge crosses the Thames River, in Central London. It is 200 feet long(60m.) and the towers rise 140 feet(43m.)The center raises to allow large ships to pass. In the past,it was raised 50 times a day, now 4-5 times a week. There are wonderful walkways with great views of London.
