Hi Ted, Beautiful shot! However, the fish actually appears to be either a Tessellated or Johnny Darter (Etheostoma olmstedi or E. nigrum) rather than a Mobile Logperch. Logperch have vertical black tiger stripes and a conical snout. On the bright side, doing a google image search for "Percina kathae" brings up a slew of your pictures as the top results, so your search engine optimization seems to be working well!
