Description
Irregular heartbeat data recorded by a Cardiac Event Recorder (black device) are transmitted through a telephone to a cardiological laboratory. After the telephone connection is established, the recorder is tightly attached (with the circle containing the word RECORD and a telephone icon) to the speaker of the telephone and the transmission button (marked with the word SEND and an arrow) is pushed. The device chirps until all data have been transmitted and the sound stops. After the laboratory operator confirms that the data have been received, the patient erases the data from the recorder and the device is ready to record new heart events. The recorder has a belt clip and may conveniently be worn attached to any clothing.
