Description
The Reticulated Glass Frog (Hyalinobatrachium valerioi) is an inhabitant of Central American and NW South American rain forest. Frogs included in the family Centrolenidae are collectively referred to as 'glass frogs' because their ventral skin is translucent. All of the organs can be seen through the ventral surface of these frogs. Eggs can be seen through the ventral surface of this female. This individual was photographed at the Atlanta Botanical Garden, 2008.
